Welcome to the No DHMO Blog

Greetings all,

I am starting this blog to assess the public awareness of the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide. My goal is to gather as much information as possible related to public awareness of the dangers of this chemical. DHMO is a commonly used industrial and household chemical that, while having some benefits, also has dangerous side effects. DHMO is probably the most prevalently used chemical that can have an adverse effect on human life. While death statistics are not kept for DHMO, it is known to have killed in the hundreds of thousands worldwide.

DHMO is the major enabling component of acid rain. It is known to be a leading cause of soil erosion in the United States and around the world. DHMO presence has been verified in ice samples taken from both the Arctic Circle and Antarctica.

The purpose of this blog is to inform the public of the dangers of this chemical substance and get feedback from efforts to regulate it. Please take time to read the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division FAQ page and then contact your elected leaders. You may cut and paste the sample letter at the bottom of this page. Please feel free to add your own comments. This makes it more personal.

I do ask that any correspondence you receive back from your elected leaders be forwarded to regulate.dhmo@gmail.com, for effectiveness tracking purposes.

I thank you for taking the time to read this very important information and look forward to taking action with you on this very important issue.
